Use OneSearch to look for physical and electronic books available through UHCL and other UH system libraries.

Search tips:

  • Use quotation marks around the title to find an "exact match"
  • Search by ISBN if looking for a specific edition, such as a textbook
  • Limit your search to UHCL Books and Media to see only items located at UHCL's Neumann and Pearland Libraries

Review results:

  • If the book you are looking for is in the collection, the record will appear near the top of the results.
  • Records for physical books will display the book's check-out status, the name of the campus and library that owns the book, which area of the library the book is located, and the call number of the book.

  • Records for ebooks available through UHCL will display a link that says Available online or May be available online.
  • Click the link and enter your UHCL campus username and password to access the ebook in the ebook database.

Can't find the book you're looking for?

  • Change the search scope to All UH Books and Media to see if it's available at UH or UHD campus libraries
  • Search WorldCat to see if it's available at a library outside the UH system
  • Request the book through ILLiad Interlibrary Loan (excludes textbooks)
