Neumann Library has 40 computer workstations available for public use. The computers are all in public areas, not rooms for private single-person use. The library cannot guarantee an environment free of distractions or noise. However, the library has two Quiet Computer Rooms housing a total of six computers, where users are expected to be quiet.
Library study rooms 1A and 1B may be reserved in advance for use by an individual. Only current UHCL students and staff may use study rooms. The study rooms do not have computers, so you would need to use your own laptop or borrow one from UCT if you are taking an online test.
Neither Neumann Library nor the Testing Center offers proctoring services for current UHCL students. Non-students may pay a fee to take a proctored test in the Testing Center. The Harris County Public Library system, including Freeman Library, does offer free proctoring services.
