Reasonable consumption of food and drink is permitted within UHCL Libraries. Please adhere to the following guidelines:
- Drinks must have secure lids.
- Food deliveries should be received outside the library.
- Avoid bringing messy, greasy, odorous, or noisy foods to the library.
- UHCL Libraries reserves the right to ask you to remove food from the premises.
- Patrons must properly dispose of all food in trash receptacles and fully clean up any affected areas. No residual crumbs, liquids, or odors should remain.
- Clean up accidental spills immediately. Paper towels are located in library restrooms.
- Food should not be taken into the Archives, library classroom, or near equipment (public computers, copiers, scanners, etc.).
