Whether you are on campus or off, O'Reilly for Higher Education database requires a UHCL computing username and password for access through the library's Databases A-Z list. If you prefer to use one of O'Reilly's mobile apps, you'll need to create an account and password specifically for the app. Follow these steps:
- Go to this O'Reilly login page: https://www.oreilly.com/library/view/temporary-access/
- In the "select your institution" menu, choose Not listed? Click here
- Enter your UHCL email address
- Click the Let's Go button
- Then use your @uhcl.edu email address in the login field
- Sign in
- Use the forgot password and password reset links to get an email to set up a new password for use on the mobile app
