If you want a book that is owned by another UH system library, search for the book in OneSearch. When the book record is displayed, view the detailed record, and click "Sign In" under "Get It" to request the book.

The system will ask you to authenticate with your UHCL computing username and password. You will be notified via your UHCL email account when the material is ready to be picked up.

HOWEVER, if you want a book that is not owned by another UH system library, you may request it through our Illiad Interlibrary Loan.  PLEASE NOTE:  WE DO NOT ORDER REQUIRED TEXTBOOKS via Interlibrary Loan.

If you need an article that UHCL does not have access to, you will also need to request it through Interlibrary Loan.

To get to the Interlibrary Loan request forms for books and articles:

From the library homepage, click on Interlibrary Loan, and follow the directions to request the book or article.
