Students: Your library barcode is "200" and the seven digits of your UHCL ID number (example: 2000987456). Find your barcode number on the back of your UHCL ID card, or find your ID number on your fee slip.

Faculty and staff: Your library barcode is "200" and the seven digits of your employee ID number.

UHCL off-campus borrowers: Your library barcode is your "point p number" (.pXXXXXXXX); you can find this on your TexShare or affiliate borrower card.

Use your library barcode number to access your Library Catalog account, where you can renew items online. If you experience problems using your barcode number, contact the Research Consultation Desk (281-283-3910).

Note: Off-campus authentication to access library research databases, ejournals, etc., now uses your UHCL computing username and password rather than your library barcode number.
